Sprint’s 4G wireless network was tested while it was faster than 3G, it’s not fast enough yet for people to run out to switch. UTILITY COMPANY RIPOFFS: We all know what a ripoff the power companies are. They purposely make their bills confusing so the normal joe can’t even call to question their bill. Verizon is a different story. In order to keep my business, they offered a premium package bundle which was fine, however I had to call in every month to get the bill adjusted because they kept overcharging me and finally they told me it was only a 6 month offer.  At work, I had to upgrade my FIOS internet service in order to support a static IP addres and port forwarding.  The only problem is that the modem Verizon doesn’t allow stable port forwarding even with a static IP address. MORAL:  If you have Vierizon, threaten to switch to Comcast and vice versa.   However the best ripoff is the bottled water company.  Cloister was purchased by Crystal Springs who is now water.com.  I ordered floridated water (not for me,  my teeth are long cavitied) and they brought out their regular stuff.  I called to get switched out, which they did.  The first bottle I opened, I noticed that someone just placed a floridated sticker on top of the regular water sticker.  I called in and demanded 4 free bottles, they gave it to me. OTHER: Batton down you hatches – hurricane Earl’s here.  We’re not even out of Iraq yet and it’s worse than prior to our takeover.  We’re not nation builders – we’re nation busters (including our own – the cost $$$). Paris Hilton got busted.  Who’s suprised?  Who cares?  Hopefully she’ll get some jail time and she can shoot another reality show in prison.  They can call it the Gangbangers.  What about the goofballs that go to the casio in Bethlehem, PA and leave their 2 and 3 year old kids in their cars while they go in and lose their unemployment checks? Wouldn’t it be something if the Bankees,  I mean Yankees don’t make the playoffs?  Does anyone actually like Andy Roddick?  I never saw a man with such a hard serve play such a defensive pushing game.  The raccoon now comes up on my porch.  Last night he ate Esther’s lip gloss.  It was cherry flavor, so I guess he thought it was fruit.

My editors say I have to first talk about computer stuff.  Google is providing FREE internet phone service through GMAIL.  International calls will be very inexpensive and calls in the US are FREE.  Check Google for details. OTHER STUFF:  Lets get right to it.  I think it’s ridiculous to build a mosque anywhere near the 9-11 site.  I think everyone pushing for this has no sensitivity and I would hope all $$$ funding this project is accounted for.  That being said, the fact that moslems or anyone for that matter have the right in this country to build a community center speaks volumes about this country.  Maybe we could build a church in downtown Tehran?  If you have bottled water delivered, I have uncovered a scam.  I will discuss more on this next week. PHILADELPHIA BLOGGERS BEWARE: Philadelphia needs to raise more revenue for some of John Street’s relatives. Philly is going after anyone that shows extra income that doesn’t have a Philadelphia business license (cost $50 per year).  Apparently they’re targeting bloggers and kids that cuts lawns. Can someone please deport all these reality shows and the morons that produce them?  I know they are cheaper to produce, but does anyone actually watch them?  I’d like to hear from one person that watches Minute to Win It, America’s Got Talent,  Big Brother or one of these other shows. My hat’s off to that lady that chose her pet alligators over her hubby. I’d bet that at least 50% of spouses would take their pet over the spouse.  RIPOFF: The I-95 corridor from the DE/PA border to Baltimore, MD is the biggest ripoff in the nation, especially at the DE/MD border.  You get to pay $19 one way and as an added bonuse get to sit 20-30 minutes to get out of DE because of a lack of open toll booths and construction.  Your tax dollars at work.  Dallas Cowboy fans – I see Eric Williams is coaching a high school football team this year.  I’ll bet that team will lead their league in personal fouls.  Talk about a fixed horse race last week – The winner .. MY WIFE KNOWS EVERYTHING.  Bedbugs in the movie theaters – who cares?  Who goes to the movies anyway?  They’re really a problem IN THE BED!
